battlefield expansion pack

hi folks
Could any one tell me how about the expansion pack ROAD TO ROME how to run it,the problem is that after installing the road to rome on Battle field 1942 it gives a message "UNABLE TO LOCATE THE CD.ROM" although i have already copied the crack file into the folder of Battlefield 1942 and have updated the patch file too...
i would be glad to know if some one knows the solution to this problem

I tried using the cracks and all that for Battlefield 1942. Its almost impossible to do(without some unforseen problems). The good news is its a good enough game to buy. And I don't say that very often....

Try downloading a different patch for it...

u have to put the mod.dll file in the XPack1 folder where battlefield 1942 is installed.. DO NOT put the mod.dll file in bf1942 folder under mods..

the directory structure is as follows

EA Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\XPack1\Mod.dll

Yeah but they patch Battlefield monthly almost. You will have to repatch every time and there are lots of hastles and crashes involved in multiplay with the cracked verison. Believe me its worth it to just go ahead and buy the full version.

I tryed the crack as well, i got so annoyed, i just went and bought it, i mean it is an exelent game!!!

I agree. And, I mean, if you like games like that, you're almost getting two games for one...
