I wrote a letter to Relic, made some suggestions I think that might make Homeworld2 an even better game. And Dan Irish, the producer of the game, wrote me back!!!
Well... he says that everyone is very busy because the game is near the completion date and none of them can answer the fans individually, but the fan like "me" (me me me me...!!!!) is what encouraged them to make their games better and he's excited to know the hype of Homeworld2 is high.
Wooowww!!!! Dan Irish wrote me back!!!

Its a 3D RTS set in space. The first one was very good, but it got a little boring.

I told them that the texture still can be better, the voice-acting definitely needs more works, the explosion of the destruction of a capital ship needs to be more dramatic, and the box-art needs to be re-designed because it looks ugly. I told them my thoghts in a much more polite way, though.

About a million years ago, when Real Time Strategy didn't mean "A game made by Blizzard or Westwood", there was a 3-d RTS based in space which rocked much ass. That game was called homeworld. As a student of gameology, you should play it for yourself. If you like RTS games at all, you should enjoy it. It reminds me of Ender's Game (the book).

Highly doubtful at this stage of development. That email sounds kinda likse some sort of auto response too.

Yeah.... maybe Dan Irish's secretary wrote it. Still, They spent timw on creating an auto-response. Relic rules! Don't forget to get a copy of Homeworld2 when it is out, guys!

Well, they should have the time to change the box art at least.

Gee, not just us think in this way, but almost everyone in relicnews.com's forum think the same way, too! They even started a thread just to re-design the box-art. I think Sierra might have another seperate desigining team to do the advertisement, which explaines why the trailer and the box-art looks bad...:(
