Is it really a good game? My husband really wants it, but he doesn't want to buy it and it turns out to suck. That would be a waste of money. He knows I come on the forums everyday and I told him I'd ask. I haven't been led wrong yet.

I assume he likes racing games because he wants to buy it, but I can't say anything because I haven't played it...

Yeah downfall is right. I really like it, but it gets frustrating sometimes cause it's so hard. If you can rent it first to try it out, then you'll know. :D

in my opinion all of the consoles have their ups and downs eventually it all comes down to the consumer and what you want i mean i have both a playstation2 and an xbox and bith are pretty good the only thing i thind rong with the xbox is you need the remote control and that receiver what ever it is to play dvds where the playstation doesnt but the xbox can record music where the playstation cant so some times it just better to wait and see which one you like better.

Gee, Kain, how about some comma or some period, because your post is hard to read!
And what are all these "generally..." stuff you're talking about in every post? Everytime you start saying something in general, end something in general, leave everything in general, and basically told us nothing but what everyone has already know in general...
No offense, but just want to let you know that XBox plays DVD has really nothing to do with Midnight Club 2.:p

yes it dosent have the fast and the furious vibe. but that movie was lame anyway so its all for the better.

Hmm. I've never seen the movies, so I'm not really excited about the vibe from them. I've been interested in MM3, though. Is it good, then?

Ooh. Not bad. Isn't that what the next NFS is supposed to be?
Interesting form of emulation/everybody grouping where the money is, going on there.

i think the next need for speed will have similer tracks to all the past games but all set in citys with a few more paths. the bigest diff about it will customization, witch, in my opinion ruins racing games. either your car is slow and you cant win or your car is too fast and you win every race.

Hmm. I remember the urban track in NFS: Porsche Unleashed. I didn't really like it. The most fun I've ever had playing NFS was the Hometown track in Hot Pursuit. That was a sweet, sweet track. Open up a Diablo, and it was good times all around.

the only tracks i like are point to point races. i wish i still had the saturn version of need for speed 1......:(
