What do you guys think of it?

A definite improvement. That said, I rarely (see: never) visit the main page.

I like it, I would prefer it if the center column was wider though.

I llike the comment thing, but the colors are still horrible, and there isn't really anything new, except the cheesy flash news thing

I go there like once a week on average, and that's only to see trailers, look at babes and read MrBored's sexual comments that are often totally out of nowhere.

First thing I mentioned to 2lions was the width. It definitely feels a bit cramped, but apparently the most common resolution that view the site is 1024x768. I think there's some complications with changing it though.
Aside from that, he's got a list about 3 pages long about things that need to be fixed, so it'll just take time.

Well that must have been before I knew about it, like 2002 or something crazy.

Yeah, back in 00-01, the site was crazy orange/green. Of course back then, it wasn't as much of a self-sustaining site as it was just a portal, so readability wasn't as important. It moved to more of a green-heavy look before it switched to the orange and white, which is probably what most people remember seeing first. Then the green, and now this. Frankly, I like this one the best. The orange/white was more readable, but this one personifies the site a whole lot better.

Back in like '02-'03ish when it was white and orange? Hell yeah.

I remember stumbling upon the CS offbeat while looking for something else CS related in Yahoo, that had to be around 00-01, right?

I was on 56k dial up in 00-01 and I was addicted to UO. I wasn't a member of any forums and if I wasn't play UO, I was on IRC. I had an AMD K7 550MHz, which pwned and a Geforce 2 GT (or was it GTS), which also pwned. Good times.

I was looking on Google to find the UT2003 demo and this site came up first for some reason. Then I noticed that it had nude women. And then I noticed that it had gaming news. I kept coming back because it had all of my internet needs fulfilled.

My brother had the main as his homepage, and at the time I noticed this I was a forum junky.
The rest is history.

I've been here for long time (before the forums were formed), but I barely remember what happened yesterday so I don't remember much from the earlier days of ATrip.

I started coming to the site in late 2001, early 2002. I was never really a big news commenter, but when the forums came online I joined up.

I think I first started coming here in 2004, just reading the comments and whatnot. Don't remember when I finally decided to create an account to join in on the depravity.

Gives you an idea of what the site looked like from 2000 - present. Nice new logo at the top too.

Are they really that out of date? We're running vBulletin 3.6.4, with the newest version being 3.6.8. It's pretty much only been security updates too.

Just the most important type of update, especially considering what happened last time...

I'd just like some minor usability updates:
1) A button for spoiler tags (long since overdue).
2) Embedding for youtube videos, and a button for that, too.

Hahahaha I'm talking about the main page, not these forums.
Edit: I'd like a button that removes women's clothing. Is there forum software for that yet?

I think there might be mods/plugins for that kind of stuff that the admin can install.
