Dam didnt get into the warhammer stuff and age of conan looks poopy.

I wish guild wars would make gw2 rather than expansions because i quit playing so now ill just be behind everyone.. or just diablo 3, that would kick ass.

Looked into WAR more.. looks pretty dam cool actully.. I signed up for the beta.

How many beta slots are available? i.e. what are the chances of me getting it?
Whats the maximum level in WAR?
How long till its actully released?
Is it a subscription fee or one-off purchase?

The only thing I can answer for sure is that it is going to be a subscription for sure. And as far as the release date, everything I've read would indicate a pretty late 2008 release.

Chances of you getting in are very slim. As far as I know they received more beta applications than any game before. Furthermore I've heard that people who got invited through winning at an event like comicon have still not actually been allowed in, and these are events from over 6 months ago.

I think I recall the maximum being a low-low level of 40, to start. Things are based in tiers of 10, 1-10, 11-20, etc. and thats how realm-v.-realm combat works as well. I've also heard rumors, though crazy, that they may implement a higher monthly fee than most MMOs. Its bullshit, but its also EA.

They just delayed AoC again to 25. of may.
Funcom's stock dumped 15%.
But the norwegian stock exchange has fallen in value over 20% since newyears. So everything falls pretty heavily

I was following huxley for a while, was looking good but they sorta disappeared or something, haven't seen anything new on that game in ages.
It would be pretty sweet if a company FINALLY made a decent sci-fi mmo.

Galaxy was a very decent mmo in th early stages. EVE online is a good mmo if you like grinding. Anarchy Online is free and addictive. take your pick

The really shitty thing about mmo's is that even with games that should attract an older, more mature, audience; in the forums they still behave like 14 yo motherfuckers.
Why not just be normal .. (hehe, I'm asking this here ..)
