A Mo-Fo is using my CS CD-Key...

...and obviously this dude has the same schedule as mine. Whenever I'm playing the game, he's usually playing, too. I'm now forced to play the fucking game during the weekdays, which is not too much time. During the weekends, this motherfucker just started to use my Half-Life's CD-key...

Can't start the network, can't log into Valve's list, can't play shit... I spent money on Half-Life's platinum edition so this motherfucker can play the game while I'm completely kicked out.

Anyone knows what I can do to counter this? How do I play again? I re-installed the CS but it didn't ask me the CD-key, so I guess the mo-fo must be using my Half-Life's CD-Key. If so, this is the fucking end. I'm not gonna re-install the entire Half-Life just for this mo-fo. I'm done with CS.

Even if I could play, there are just way too many cheaters. When I started playing 3 years ago, people are not that "skilled." Today, some people started to have this "extraordinary" ability to take out a pistol, run stright to a wall, strife, and one shot in another dude's face, then turn around, take out a mac10, and gave 3 headshots to another dude at the other end of the map.

How about this one... I was dead and I was in follow mode and I saw this dude shooting with a SUB. The dude he was shooting at ran away, so he switched his weapon to... an AWP, and started to snipe... without reloading. Yep, 15 shots straight from an AWP... the sucker still couldn't make it, so he started to throw grenades. He threw like 7 HE grenades and the dude he tried to kill finally died...

Okay, and no matter what cr3am tells you guy, there ARE people play with SUPER HEALTH. I saw it twice in version 1.5. I don't know how they did it, but I saw it. It is out there.

Fuck CS. I'm done with it.

I'm done with it. 1. must have been a serverside mod. you can NOT, i repeat can NOT hack super health, god mode, or any other health related thing in CS. you can NOT, i repeat can NOT hack extra health in CS. it was either a serverside mod, he was buying them as he was throwing them, or you can't count:p

Guys, thanks cr3am for reminding me this. He tipped me on this greatest, yet most ambitious mod of Half-Life ever, it is called Natural Selection!! A combo of RTS and FPS... for the commander it is like RTS, of course. Please go check it out!!!

Here's something just as bad:my current install of UT2k3 is fucked, to reinstall it requires the key, it says it's on the back of the cd-tray but ut2k3 came in those cheezy paper things! So where is my damn cd-key?! I'm too damn old to remember these kinds of things...in my day we didn't have cd-keys, software publishers just faced the facts they would be pirated.

Damn! I'll never find my manual unless I open up a rip in the fabric of space/time back to the day I first purchased the game and then looked (only looked mind you, If I grabbed it that would alter history and then Nazis would take over the world!) at what the key is.

It's ok though, I remembered I had backed it up on a spare HD! *whew*

Thanks, but as I said, I need to re-install the entire Half-Life to do this... right??? That's way too much work. I have 5 cd-keys from Half-Life, CS, Blue-Shift, Opposing Force, and a CD called Team Fortess, so getting a different cd-key isn't a problem for me. Just the entire re-installing process annoys me...

Start>Run>type: regedit>HKEY CURRENT USER>Software>Valve>Game*>Settings>on the right side: Key**

* = name of the game you wanna change the key for
** = double click on the word "Key"

It's not possible for everybody, but it's so sweet to have a LAN to play on. Installing a four-user hub and CAT5 is really cheap. If some friends are up to a road-trip with their systems, at least you can get your multiplayer fix without worrying about cheaters.

I'm out in the middle of nowhere so most of multiplayer has to be on the LAN. My nephew will bring some of his friends over and we'll Red Faction or UT each other senseless. It sounds like a bad night in Belfast with all the shooting and explosions rockin' the house.

Online gaming is useless nowadays cause all the little tikes prefer to win by cheating.. as a matter a buddy of mine won a G4 yesterday in a online tournament using cheats, LOL shhh don't tell any one... oh I miss the good days of UT where it was fun and actual skill involved not some lame ass script.. I to stick to skirmish maps or single player and I just turn the ai on the hardest level their is, in the case of Generals that's Brutal and that involves Nuclear missles and Plasma cannons.. lol ok enough babbling.
