...on the other side. I've been living in the UK for a month now and its going great. I love walking into a KFC and standing in a queue of white people who know what personal space is. You still have to deal with a fucking retarded paki behind the counter, but they aren't as lazy. While the speed limits in this country are unfuckingbelievably retarded, the drivers aren't and they're incredibly considerate which more than makes up for it. Having to pump your own petrol sucks cock, but at least I don't have to tip some darky for doing his job. And roundabouts pwn, especially this one: Magic Roundabout (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_Roundabout_(Hemel_Hempstead)). It makes me cum so hard. Its about 4 miles from where I stay. I have a deep and intense hatred of traffic lights btw...
I've downloaded about 1TB so far, and I don't worry about storage because I know I can just download it again. 25 quid for 16MB broadband with unlimited downloads, including line rental and a call plan which makes all land line calls free and reduces the price of mobile calls (10-10-5). Sex compared to what I had. Unfortunately my area isn't wired for cable, that would have pwned.
I brought my PC over, but sold my monitor. I picked up a Hyundai 240W-TN panel. Its fucking sex. If you're looking for a new monitor, I can really recommend it. The stand is amazing, the viewing angle is fine (don't spend more on the PVA, its not worth it for the lack in response time), the back lighting doesn't have any noticeable bleeding and it has every possible input under the sun.
I will be completing an MCTS course in April and then I'll start looking for a proper job and move out. The only thing that seems to be priced on the border of absolute insanity is the housing. MCTS programming jobs seem to pay really well, so it shouldn't be a problem.
And finally, hot chocolate with marshmallows. I'm deeply annoyed that no one told me about this sooner, such an awesome concept.

MrBored, you are so racist. But I'm glad you are having a good time. :)
Are you moving there or just visiting?

Hehe, nice. So is this your first time out of niggerville, or have you already been exposed to western civilization?

Coming from a US perspective I would agree that your statements are racist, at least to my mindset. But, coming from South Africa I can understand it from a cultural aspect. There are still some major divides between races that need to be mended both from the political and social sides. Anyway glad to see you are happier where you are now. You should come to the US you can get even more good shit for even cheaper here, 25 quid = 50 USD (maybe even more).

I completely agree. Should be flashing reds outside of all rush hour traffic.

I have left a lot of times for just a holiday, but now that I'm living here I can start to see things from a different perspective.
And you're not allowed to frown on me for being a racist until you have braved a city KFC in Africa... The racial divides will never go away. I also believe that everyone is racist in a way. I'm sure if you see someone doing something stupid, and that person is a different race to you, you'd think worse of them than if they were the same race as you. Even people who go out and try and help poor people in africa. Actually they're even worse because they feel superior for helping the poor helpless darkies.

I don't mind paying high taxes for free health care and better public services, but I would like to visit the US to be able to form an opinion of it myself. Its just so large and varied that I imagine its quite different depending on where you live (and it has too many black people).
Out of curiosity, whats the minimum wage in the US? Its about £5 per hour here.

In Massachusetts it's like $8. It's much lower in other states.

It's $6.65 right now. It's going up incrementally until next summer when it will be set at $7.25. Some other states have higher minimum wage standards, though.

Both of those things are fairly varied depending. Where I live there are almost NO black people, and the only ones I see at school are on sport teams.
As for minimum wage, I think its $6 per hour where I live, but most civilized employers tend to pay about a dollar more than that starting.

Yes! I was playing Forza 2 at the time and my chair started to vibrate, it was like driving on the rumble pads. I enjoyed it, it was quite sensual.
