Hey this is my 1st post so bear with me.

I was just wondering if anyone would know where to get a good patch for GTA3. The one that i have now is fucked because when i'm in the game, all the text is highlighted in yellow; and it's driving me nuts.

I've been looking for this patch without the highlighted text for ages, so if anyone knows where to get it, could you please reply back to this....

Hey RADiator, the OS that i'm using is Windows XP.
It's wierd. I got the game of one of my friends, and i also got the same patch he used to play the game, so i don't know what the fuck is goin on.

second of all, get rid of windows xp.
third of all, windows xp causes problems with progs that you couldn't even think up!

no, windows XP has a D3D glitch that causes that those yellow bars.

I heard some sayings that it is about your graphics card's setting... any one heard of something likt that? I used to have the same problem with Geforce2 MX, but 9700 ran fine with it...

I like driving cars etc.. but GTA 3 has shit for cars.. u touch a damn other car and the bonnet comes flying off.. and with two bashes the damn car is on fire.. there is no sense of speed.. half the cars dont handle good.. even the sports one drive like a maniac.. if i want to drive cars i play rallisport challenge.. nfs series etc.. anyways back to gta 3.. the game is fun and killing and all is good.. i like how choppers come and when they bring the damn tanks in da house but most of the time it lasts for only 5 seconds and u are done.. the controls are good no doubt when u are walking etc.. and missions are nice but they get too repititive.. i played through the first city except i think the phone missions coz i couldnt win the first race.. again coz just bumping a car gets it on fire bfr u know it.. anyways.. in the second city.. i covered most of it.. found some packages and all.. but being someones pawn is not my idea of a game.. though mafia also had PAWN elements yet those were nicely blended with his own story and the scripted action sequences were nice too.. anyways.. gta 3 is an ok game but it never compelled me to go all the way to the end.. anyways to everone his own.. i am looking forward to vice city though.. the best part of gta 3 were the radio stations and the fact that u can play ur own huge list of songs.. but we saw that already (to some extent) in nfs4.. even though poorly implemented listening to songs in nfs4 was more fun than gta 3..

EDIT: I didnt expect nOOb flaming from you guys.. but if u want it.. we can always have some flaming.. HOW THE FUCK DID U DO THAT CREAM!
