Opening ceremony was insane. Couldn't believe the huge number of performers all in sync. Must have been the biggest bitch to choreograph. Don't think anyone can have doubts about China hosting these games now.

Dude, its America what do you expect. When the media latches onto a person like Phelp's and his accomplishments it can become a bit abrasive because American media is so powerful in our country and that's what the rest of the world sees when they look at us. I won't deny he's done a great thing in terms of what a person can achieve with their physical being, but I mean its just sports, we're not curing cancer here or doing anything that will help humanity on a massive scale.
