I've been hearing alot about Clive Barker's Undying. I'm trying to decide on whether or not to get it. What do you think?:confused: :)

It doesn't fit with the rest of the game. Instead of being creepy or scary, it was just a huge weird-looking cockroach. Very uninspired and the fight was boring.

Undying is currently $12.90 U.S. at GoGamer.com, and maybe some other site has similar prices. I've done some business with them, and it's been fine so far. It's a pretty creepy, play-in-a-dark-room game, a bit "disturbing" at times, but that's a good thing in this sort of title.

I think it was alright, the game could've been longer though, for 12USD it's a steal.

I think it's a scariest game I've played, AvP comes next and RE third.

I heard the game sales were pretty crappy so the dev team got disbanded and that basicaly means no U2 :(

I bought Undying a long time ago but never really played it - guess undying was victum of my first impression.... Thanks to your comments I'm installing Undying this afternoon and I'm giving it another try!

The only way to play this game is with complete silence in the room.. a dark enuff room.. with only ur monitor screen lit.. at 12 midnight with headphones volume turned to the max.. then u will know if this game is any good or not.. again i say this.. NOTHING HAS EVER SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME LIKE THIS GAME.. and i am so looking forward to Call of Cthulu.. (i know sp mistake here)

Ofcourse alone.. otherwise whats the fun in it.. i have tried it with other games also.. but doom 3 alpha came a bit close to scaring me.. but undying has the honors.. others.. well never..

Ok- Installed it and started playing... I'm not impressed with the gfx. Sure, every now and again one of those howling-fucks make an unexpected appearance and I make another soil mark in my briefs, but seriously this UT engine and graphics suck. I'll try to be strong and play on a short while longer but I can't make any garauntees. If only I had something worth while to play

actually i think they were talking to me but anyways.. i hear ya.. no wonder the game flopped.. but for me.. it was awesome.. once u do start playing it.. it can actually be fun.. plus i think u havent set the environment right.. the way i mentioned in an earlier post.. try it.. even then if u dont like it.. then throw away the cd rom and live ur life at peace.. ;)
