They were the group that tried to have the FORMAT of mp3 declared illegal in the late 1990's, and are currently attacking all efforts to create a means of LEGAL digital distribution of music. They also are the ones who have gotten laws passed that makes labels the legal owners of music, not the artists who wrote, and performed the songs.

Or, to put it another way, they are the enemy.

I have two people that need to be added! Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson. Kevin J Anderson fucks up other people's works exclusively, and Brian Herbert deserves a kick in the nads for not having any respect whatsoever for his father's excellent book series. One can still be patriotic and be anti-war. That's the entire thing about America. If you don't like America, you are exercising your right to free speech by saying so. Blowing up an army base, for instance, is unpatriotic. Wrapping the American flag around yourself and saying that anything anti-Republican is naturally anti-America is simply a fallacy. They don't connect. And a lot of people don't like the war because of the disrespect for the UN. Pretty much everybody realizes Saddam is or was a bastard (if not, read Martyr's Day, by the late Michael Kelly) but a lot of people wouldn't have minded a little more time... How do I feel? I don't know. I'm a historian, so I need to give it some more time... I won't be crying about Saddam being out of power, I'll tell you that.
