Copy/paste from a post I made in another forum.

Rock, Alternative Rock, Electronica (Drum & Bass, Big Beat, Breakbeat, etc.), Trip-Hop/Downtemp/Lo-Fi/Chillout, Classical, "proper" rap (i.e. isn't just 5 minutes of bitches, ho's, money and cars), Blues, and most other types of music.

The only music I absolutely can't stand is Death Metal, mainstream ganster rap (as I already mentioned), and Country.

A some examples of what I listen to:

I like some songs by Red Hot Chili Peppers, like Don't Stop, Californication, Otherside, and Scar Tissue.

Moby's Extreme Ways are my favorite song of all time, for now.

Aerosmith has some really good songs, too. I like everything they have done except Jaded.

Stairway to Heaven is a really awesome song, too.

A few songs by Nine Inch Nail.

There's no such thing as seal scrotum if Sarah Palin is elected.

Yeah, well, that's how much music I don't like sucks. So bad that it manages to lick something that doesn't even exist.

* I don't follow American politics much, so I may have missed the joke.

Long story short:

Palin supported bills that allowed for killing polar bear cubs and she also passed a bill that makes it legal to shoot wolves from helicopters.

I could get a third of the way on expert on RB and to the last two sets on hard. I haven't played in forever but I managed to play a few songs on hard last night online with a bud. He was in awe of my "skillz".

Saw them ealier this summer. I'm not a gigantic fan, but I like several of their songs and tickets were dirt cheap (like 2 for 20 bucks), so I went with my gf. It was great. Reznor put a lot of energy into it and it had hands down the best light show I've ever seen.

Saw Amon Amarth, Ensiferum, Belphegor and The Absence last Saturday, which was nothing short of pure awesome. Tuesday is Three Inches of Blood, Evile and Nailbrick. Should be good.
