I didn't really give a shit but since he's going to be president and the US has a massive effect on the world whether I like it or not, I figured I'd see what Obama is about. I've read everything in the Agenda section at change.gov and I have to say I think this guy is fucking awesome for the US. Maybe in four years I won't laugh at the US anymore. Maybe it'll go back to being respectable.

I'm interested in seeing if any of his rural/farm stuff actually happens. I should have a sizable amount of acreage in NC within the next few years and was seriously giving some thought to paying illegals to work the fields there instead of letting it sit and grow until I'm ready to retire out there in 40 fucking years.

I really also hope I'm not too white and upper-middle class to take advantage of his tuition aide shit, I've had a god awful time getting any sort of help and aside from tiny nearly pointless scholarships I've pretty much paid for college out of pocket or with loans so far. I just don't like that "most Americans" bit in the college credit bit.
