i have the demo!! can i get the kung-fu mod??and how can i get the cheats to work?? i trien correcting the file name on propertiies..it wont let me do it..please help.

I don't think any mods will work for the demo, so you are out of luck there. But cheats will work with the demo, and you are doing it way wrong.

This is how the target box should look:

"C:\Games\MaxPayneDemo\MaxPayne.exe" -developer


And this is a no-brainer, but make sure you put the directory where you installed it, i just used the directories above as an example.

when i, installed it..i did the developer thing..("C:\Program Files\Max Payne Demo.exe-developer\MaxPayneDemo.exe")

Thats way, way, way wrong. So wrong it confused the shit out of me.

"C:\Program Files\Max Payne Demo\MayPayneDemo.exe" -developer


You've f'ed up your shortcut, so delete all of them then make a new one. Once you get the new shortcut to maxpayne.exe right click on the shortcut and click properties. Once your in the properties box add -developer outside of the quotes. it should look like this (your directory is probably different, but you should get the idea by now.):

"C:\Program Files\MayPayneDemo\MaxPayne.exe" -developer

Dude, i didn't tell you to copy my reply into the target box, i just gave you an example. Fine MaxPayne.exe and and make a shortcut, but that shortcut on your desktop and go into the properties box. Once in the properties box add -developer ouside the quotes. If i installed the demo on my computer, this is how it would look:

"C:\Program Files\MayPayneDemo\MaxPayne.exe" -developer


That is an example, just add -developer to the end of what you see in the target box, ouside of the quotes, and remember to put a space between the quotes and -developer.

Anyways, I'm not eeven sure the cheats works in the demo. I'm quite busy right now but I will go and check online, see if the cheats work the same way as in the demo.

BTW, the cheats definitely works in the full version (with Ray's procedure) so why don't you get full version instead? It is not very expansive now. It is an old game but it is really fun.

Just can't wait to see what Max Payne 2 has to offer us, right...?:D

Cheats do work for the demo, i know because i have the demo and i've used them. I would't be trying to help if the demo didn't let you use cheats.

I think Max Payne is about 253Megs. It kind of sucks though, non of the graphic novels have voice acting, you got to read anything.

Some people can't afford a game, thats why they pirate it. But, on the other hand, some people are just too damn cheap. When i download pirated games its because i can't afford to buy a real copy and i have to settle for a crappy warez copy with no video, voice acting, and sometimes music. If the game is good enough, then i'll save up my money and buy it. Warez is like an extended demo, thats how i see it.
