btw, Splintercell has better gfx than HL2 and doom3? Fuck dude, I'll have a quart of whatever you're drinking!

HL2 no but then again I haven't seen it in person, Doom3 I think it does, I don't like the look of D3 just my 2 cents... btw i'm packing shots of Vodka with no chaser.

Don't get me wrong - as negative as I usually rate games I too enjoyed Splintercell. The gameplay, gfx and effects added to a great Clancy story. If Ubisoft released some kind of patch that added DX9 effects to splinter cell then it would probably stand a chance against Doom III. HL2 just better be good.
