That's how many digits I could remember. I did it when I was in High school. Infact, I can't do it my reading them out loud, but rather write them down quickly.

That was lame. But I don't care, I have pi on my calculator if I need more than that. Is there any point to learning a lot of the digits anyways???

I memorised all the 50 state's capitals in 3rd grade... because I was so bored I stared at the map on the wall all the time :)

Yeah, I definitely memorized pi back in high school... instead of paying attention in math for three years. I figure I'll get as much out of that than I would with calculus.
And when you say pi, you can think of pie, and there's nothing wrong with that!
