How do i fix this problem???

Hey guys!
I have a little update on a situation that i hope will help you help me.
After trying to download this game all day long i noticed that all downloads failed approximately 2hours after i started the download.
I do not know what is so special about 2 hours but that is not a coincidence.
So, is there some sort of 2 hour limit somewhere on something or what?
Thank you in advance!

I really have no idea what could be going on. I did some Googling because solving mysterious, moronic problems with Microsoft products is always fun.
I found your post on that other site, and the fellow over there linked to the official forum, which suggested to try using Windows Update and, if it has the same issue, to use this solution. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910341
That seems like the best solution. If it doesn't work, well, time to look for another.
This is just temporary though. The only long-term solution is to stop buying shit from GfW and use Steam, which is less retarded. http://steampowered.com
(I would like an explanation on why Microsoft products are always more convoluted, complicated, and fail more often than those by say, Google or Apple. Microsoft products seem to have a consistent stupidity to them, and I'm wondering why, beyond "Microsoft sucks". While we're on topic.)

(I mean seriously, he's logged in and the network is not busy. Why the fuck can he not download it without any issues? Why is this made more complicated than simply logging into a server that requires authentication and downloading a file? Fuck.)

Contact Microsoft and demand they fix it. If they don't fix it demand a refund. If you get a refund buy it on Steam or at Retail instead.

Is there any possibility that your system is set to enter some sort of power-saving mode after two hours? It's the only time-related possibility that occurs to me.
Not that it's any sort of unique, rare or singular event, but I must say I'm very much inclined to agree with both tisl and RAY on this one. Is Microsoft really unable to keep the purchase of entertainment software apart from the infrastucture intended to be used to maintain an operating system? The suits in marketing should have prevailed over the geeks on this one, Mr. Balmer.
I've never thought about buying anything through GFWLM, and after reading this, I can't imagine ever considering it in the future. This could spoil quite a bit of the fun inherent in settling into a new title; try and not let it do so.
