I can get it to run at 1280x720 by messing around with the refresh rate, but everything is so small it makes my eyes burn and i start gettting a headache. My asshole brother broke our monitor, it was 20 inchs and i used to run at 1280x768 32bit color @ 85Hertz. That bastard knocked in on the ground while having a hissy fit, now i'm stuck with this old pile of shit.

My screen has a little story to it:

For my education I had to go into internship by a company. So I chose a company which I thought could learn me some things. Turned out all they had for me were REALLY shitty jobs but he whadda ya gonna do about it? Anyway while my test-group was testing some 21 inch CRT screens one dumbass turned one on saw that the image was blurry. But instead of pressing the auto-focus button the screens has, he puts the thing on the pile of defected monitors. I saw himdoing that and so at the end of the day I went to my supervisor and asked him if I could have that screen (and another one which had some REALLY tiny scratches). he said YEAH sure I don't care, give me 20 bucks a piece and they're yours. I paid the man and drove away (I have my own car....you didn't expect me to walk with 2 21" screens right?) with the 2 screens. They're Professional Dell monitors and can go up to 110 hertz by a resolution of 1600x12000........so guess what my desktop is? O and I sold the other one to a friend of mine for 30 bucks...


was that a nice story or what? All I know is that it saved me a LOT of money :D:D

Well......to be honest I do have another one..it's not completely flat like mine but it's 21 inch and it's a Trinitron.......also a Dell.....it's my screens predecessor actually. The only problem is how are you going to ship it to where you live?

60hz is actually a perfect resolution for the eyes. it may hurt more because you're not use to treating your eyes correctly (kinda like "chronic slouchers". hurts when they try and straighten the back).

so...save your eyes!!! don't use 80 or even 75; multiples of around 30 are perfect :) 90's cool.....

BTW: My screen can do 1600x1200 at 110Hz. It's a PROFESSIONAL Dell monitor. No I'm not showing off. I'm just tellin you guys. It's my videocard which is holding me back. My Matrox G400 could do it (everybody knows Matrox kicks ass in these things) But my current vidcard just isn't up to it :(

You see it's the railroad bridge that crosses the ohio river in the town that I live and grew up in. And there was a lot of times that some friends and I would climb to the very top. We'd take some brew and get so high also. We got so fucked up one of my friends barfed on a tow boat as it passed under us one night. I mean on the boat itself. I bet there was some pissed off deckhands on that boat. And we always would hold our piss for them. Piss alover those boats as they passed under us. It was too dark to tell if we ever hit anyone, but the thought always busted us up. We'd about laugh ourselves of the damd bridge. We even carried some pumpkins up there the halloween of 1976 and dropped them on one of those towboats.
I even got layed one night on that bridge. God that was hot! Lilian was one hot little slut. I had alot of fun with her, but so did half the high scool I went to.
The river front was just below us and everyone would hangout there on friday,and saturday nights. But since it was so dark nobody could see us.
Since then some of the poeple that I went to scool with has changed the river fornt. Made it so that nobody could hang out there anymore. They knew what used to go on there and I guess they did'nt want thier kids doing the same.
I guess being that I got lids as old as most of you I would'nt advise any of you to try something like that. Lucky that none of us fell off. But that bridge was one of my favorite places to party.
