Yeah, his Shanghai based company Spicy Horse is developing the game, they're responsible for the Grimm's Fairy Tales games, which weren't terrible.
What is Alice doing in DM-Sanctuary?

Oh hey, it's the Unreal Engine.
Fucking weird, isn't it? It's such a rarely used engine.

It's pretty ridiculous, and to the point where I'm tired of seeing that Unreal Engine glow.
I mean, recently played:
Shadow Complex
Transformers: War for Cybertron
Mass Effect 2
Gears of War 2
Borderlands
Batman Arkham Asylum
Mirror's Edge
Undertow
Stranglehold
Fuck me.

Turn off the bloom and motion-blur. Don't mean to be overly harsh, but that nasty Unreal Engine 3 almost certainly meant you were able to run all of those games at very high image quality settings with great framerates, even on 2007-era hardware, so, yes, we really should throw it overboard. While I don't always care for the art and design decisions used in some UE3 titles, (I think the entire industry is in sort of a rut in that regard), I can't find too much fault with the engine itself.

Alice is going to be awesome. She does seem to be getting any older, though. I thought this is a sequel?

Show dilapitated version of Alice in Wonderland. Which is pretty impressive itself. Now there is a trailer for Alice vomiting blood lots and lots of blood.
