uh.. the embeded image is very easy to see without the highlight. I can see gordon's heads very clearly.

He RAD, how about the face of the girl on the left instead of the comic Gordon? Because her face has a real "even" color she might be easier to hide....I think.

O I just send a PM to ya saying the exact same thing as I posted here. mmm kinda useless now I know that the face can't be hidden easier. Well, if that doesn't work it might be a better idea to hide something behind the face that also makes your avatar instead of the black. Good luck anyway

RAD loves me for bringing this form of hiding images to his attention ;)

Ok here is what you do:
1) Choose an image ;)
2) Make a new layer over the image and use the checkered pattern.
3) Now with the pattern selected merge down the layer (Ctrl+E).
4) Now I want you to take a eraser tool (with your checkered pattern selected...IT MUST BE SELECTED!!!!) start deleting the checkered pattern.
5) So here you go now place the image you just did over another one and start tweaking it (I leave this part to you coz there is a lot of variations you can do here).

I assume that there can be more variations of this technique but this is how I did it.
