i just got my new computer its OS is XP. which is pretty gay because it doesnt comes with a scandisk. a few days of playing and errors began appearing after one illegal restart. how do i get scandisk. and where do i get it?

it should start the XP version of scandisk automatically so that's kinda weird. But it only does that by real big errors like power off while your still working. Does windows still work? I think you might need to give more information.

Yeah but that's only when XP still works...if I'm not mistaken.

Doh, you run it from DOS then.

if xp runs, right click on my computer in the start menu, then hit manage, figure it out for yourself....

Yeah ok but does that still work? Won't it say "This program can not be run under DOS"?
