RAM Question

I am going to buy some RAM for my comp and my friend sent me a link to a site where i can buy the amount of RAM i want and what not, but it says its for a diff OS then i have, does that matter with RAM?

the OS isn't picky about the RAM. ram that fits in the slot and can run at the specified speed will work with the OS.
