Doing the damn pin trick that someone recommended me here (http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=614967) ..
although i did get the pins straightened out and wasnt able to remove the pin.. yet now it wont boot.. time to claim warranty i suppose!

sushi, could he have done the old "pull the contact out of the socket" thing, like on the Socket 370 FCPGA conversion? (And leave the pin intact?)

it was sorta that.. i was trying to remove the fucking pin but bent a few others in the process.. like around 3 of them.. so i took a small sewing needle and bent them back in place but the damn thing wont boot now.. not even a screen.. like running a mobo without a fucking proc!.. lesson learned.. never be greedy and hasty.. that puppy ran everything i threw at it.. but now i am fucked for all practical purposes.. i am such a n00b at hardware shit!

I was just checking Price Watch. Vendors are asking about $120 U.S. for the 1.8GHz P4. The 2.4 is about $160, or so. Nice chunk of cash you may not have. Sorry, guy, I'm just making things worse.

seriously, just buy a new one, and keep this as a key chain. put it back in after a few months, might work again.

Dude I TELL YOU ONE THING.. MY GOD IS KIND.. AND I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON.. since i practically raped my processor last night.. it said ok u piece of shit.. this is what happens when u run a ur dog by ur car.. bwahahaha.. NOW ITS ALIVE.. MY PUPPY IS ALIVE.. so I am all HAPPY.. :D
