what is it with you anime people? I hate anime for many reasons 1. Always fighting for what i do not know.
2. Finding humer in the most pathetic moments in life.
3. Children.
4. Snotty children.
5. The odd faces
6. Music when there fighting (for some pathetic cause).
7. Arogance.
8. Always nameing there attacks and shouting them like fools when there fighting.

Now people, Tell me why you like this saddepressive "anime"?

And not only that, you gave rather stupid reasons.

As for the faces, its a style of drawing different from the boring shit I see on Cartoon Network and other "western" cartoons. (The only good ones I know of to name a few are Samuria Jack, Ed, Edd, Eddy...)

For me, anime started with Dragon Ball. And if you watched it and took out all the "nameing of attacks" it would suck. It wouldn't have same effect. Most anime is actually not about fighting. A lot of it has to do with philosophy and the thoughts of soceity from the author.

Shit man. What would Age of Empires, SC, War3, Diablo 2, and hundreds of other games be without [good] music?

I'm kinda in the middle on this one. I don't like Dragon Ball Z, but at the same time, some of the more, um, non-juvenile stuff (Ghost in the Shell, Akira, I guess the classics) aren't too bad. I don't know. I guess it's like anything America does--there's good and there's bad, and we can't judge either based only on some of that.

I like anime, well good anime that is. i dont like some of the cartoons that try to pass as anime. I like stuff like Full Metal Panic, Outlaw Star, Hellsing, Trigun, Ghost in the shell series and movies and that type of stuff.

True sometimes some of the characters can be so whiney that you want to reach out and bitch slap em(I.E. the main guy in the EVA series cant remember name at the moment)

And as for your list of grivences with anime that can be aplied to a lot of movies and tv shows.

Almost every movie has music in the background when there is fighting.

Well i don't meen to make you not like anime, But I HATE western cartoons don't use those as a substatute. Western cartoons are soo childish and sickening they don't even register in my mind.

what does Morrowind have to do with anime? and whats wrong with "Music when there fighting" I would fall asleep without the kick-ass music in the background. If you don't like music then watch some of those old funky movies from the 1920's, they have no sound! The worst argument EVER!! good job :D
