I watched the DVD on Friday and if you haven't checked it out and you are a fan of the Matrix I suggest you go out and rent this DVD quick, it really rocks. It contains 9 shortfilms about the world inwhich the Matrix story takes place. The whole concept is truely amazing.

Plus the first episode has some amazing cgi.

I downloaded it a few days ago, watched half of it, went to work, and when i came back the file was currupt to i ran check disk and it truncated the file making it only 3.8 megs and containing about 15 seconds of a random scene from the movie.

Is it basicaly anime crap in matrix world??? I'd hate some more final fantasy: spirits within... looks cool, feels/tastes like shit.

I saw a preview for it. The computer animated ones looked pretty interesting, but the one with the horses and samurai and things didn't really appeal to me. Don't get me wrong, I like samurai. I just don't really think "Japanese warriors from times now past" when I think of the Matrix.

Parts of what I've seen are good, parts of what I've seen make me scratch my head(s), parts of what I've seen make me dislike the Matrix even more.

I loved the 2 Renaissance ones (the prequel to the matrix in a way), they were brilliant. The way the machines came to enslave the humans was really well thought out, so much better than in Terminator: Man makes AI, AI becomes sentient, AI sees man as a threat, AI destroys man, I mean wtf, how dumb was that, man is to busy fighting with himself to want to wage war on his own AI. :/

Nope, not at all. Its NOT like DBZ where you see people fighting and doing stupid things to each other in the Matrix, its really good stories that surround the matrix. They just give you more insight.

It does have the making on the DVD, but you could just rent it if you wanted to see that.

i bought it the other day and i think its great. They used different animators and directors for each story so they would have tyheir own feel and look to them. The only ones i can remember off hand are the directors from Blue Sub anime and Aeon Flux

Second Renaissance is reealy cool but they could have combined the two into one. They were short anyway. The Final Flight of Osiris was so freaking cool... infact, that one was the only reason I bought the DVD. Second Renaissance is free to download.

I actually find anime quite disturbing, if its not DBZ or Pokemon, its a movie where a hot young white girl gets raped by a giant grotesque monster thing with too many/too big genitals...

Yeah, thats hentai, which is pretty much cartoon porn. Anime is stuff like DBZ, and Yugio (sp?). IMO, DBZ is like the backstreetboys of the anime world, its very commercial and it gets boring after a while. There are too many pointless fights and people scream way too much. There are many better anime shows out there.

Yeah, i don't like it either, I was just using it as an example. Some of my fave anime's are Cowboy Bebop, Blue Sub No.6, Battle Angle (I think thats what its called), Akira (Yes, i know its played out), and a few others i can't remeber right now.

I think oriental chicks must have small tits cause in all anime movies, Ghost in the Shell for example, they have to show some nice well rounded tits. Its a wierd obsession they must have. Besides that though, the normal Anime stuff, like the previously mentioned Ghost in the Shell, is ok.

I hate anime where hair is just spiky things and eyes are either veeeery small or as big as characters body, looks funny and stupid.

I know there's some good anime, but it's like consoles, more shit then good in anime industry.

What's that you say? Men obsessed with large, well rounded Breasts? MY GOD MAN, IT CAN'T BE TRUE!

Stop the presses, this is the story of the century! Imagine if someone could have noticed this earlier! I'm going to go find a way to artificially enhance breasts, and copyright it! Then I'll make a magazine dedicated to showing large breasts, perhaps even a website or two.
