A Game Making Board???

Whell, AT is hosting a board for Web Design and Graphics discussions, because there are lots of us that do that stuff. Why not a board for us amateur game developers? :D :D It could be a place for AT members to announce little demos of theirs, maybe a mod project, maybe even a full blown game (prefferably open source, and free)!!! Or maybe just a humble article (CLICK HERE) (http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~lagunad/_game_making/n00b/n00b.htm) that might be of some help.

Main benifits:
*WE GET FREE STUFFF!!!!!
*We can learn from each other.
*Hopefully we'll have a bit of fun too.
*An important and influential person might stumble on our work.

I don't think there is enough of game making enthusiasts visiting this board. Personally, I'd love to have a forum for that, but I don't believe that many people would participate in it.

i dunno how to fucking program a game.
i got all the ideas
i even got a script written out,
but its too way up there for me. i'm virtually blind to everything programming. i'd love to but it just seems like alien technology to me...

I'd love to learn... I'm taking programming next year. Why not make a programming board? I'm sure there's plenty of people with some knowledge of programming here...
