Ok, i was in the console section and Yian said that you should get a computer because XBOX runs a stripped down OS, instead of the full thing... Ok, first people complain it's too much of a PC, now they complain it's not enuf of a PC? Do you think MS really wants to drop the game performance level with their WinBlows? They put in a stripped down version cuz that's all games need, and the RAM won't have to do more.

Then i was in the PC section. Somebody made a long post dissing a game because it had a blurry background. Ok, i'm sorry, but have you heard of cameras? Many many games are using camera-like .... things.... and make things blurry when it's not what you're looking at.

I've also noticed other things that people make huge posts complaining about without thinking....

ReDeeMeR is the one that complained about the blurry backgrounds. And i pointed out that they are just using the blur for a camera effect, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance also does this. ReDeeMeR is a mindless drone that is programed to auto-insult anything that has to do with consoles.

Ray my man.. if anything i agree abt the price issue and what xbox has to offer.. i know there are some pretty cool platformers out there that just require an xbox or a ps2 for that matter.. but redeemer just wants to prove superiority of the pc which i think is a little bit useless as we already know that.. but for price to performance ratio i must say u cannot compare a pc with say an xbox.. when i put in a new vid card in my rig it not only improved my games.. it also improved dvd.. heck it even improved 2d image quality..

secondly.. coming to consoles i know that tv is 640 rez but who cares.. dont u ppl watch cable.. all in all price of xbox is fine what it is now and for pc also its fine.. coz computers are not made only for games.. in the end it really depends no how much dough u got!.. i would buy a nice console if i have the dough and time to play it really.. and i might soon even get me an xbox when something new hits the market.. for the only reason that for a pc i WANT TO upgrade when games hit the market like hl2 or doom 3 or deus ex 2 or other.. but for an xbox.. my buying decision will only be made once.. and i will get a lot of games with it! in one go!.. but thats just me..

I think Yian's point was you can't do as much on an Xbox. As for the whole argument I started, it's not my fault! I was just wondering what the PC people's opinion was. Then they started complaining about the graphics, even though I said in the first post that consoles can't have as good graphics.

look the main problem with this is that some people...well most people think because i own this its better than yours, in some ways a console is better simple because its made just to play games wich is good if thats what you want but a pcs better because it also has other programs so really i cant see why alot of you have to complain about the console or complain about the pc there bith really good in there own ways.

Kain, that really wasn't the point of this war; the real reason it was started because people are having different opinions on XBox, not comparing consoles to PC.

BTW, I think PC is better not because it has other stuff than games, but it is simply better when it comes to gaming.

The only down part of a PC and games is that you have to install, where as a game console you just throw the disc is and your ready to play! :D I've heard that Microsoft is working on their new OS, where games are going to be played like on a console, no installing!!

actually there is.. i played bond game on ps2 and the loading times were there.. also mohaa had a lot of loading in it.. though in the case of redfaction and tekken etc.. i can say there werent much loading times!.. but still the thing is that there is loading and since the dvd rom integrated is way better than what is on pc.. i see no reason for microshit to come in and rule out installation programs and shit..

I like installation times. It just gives you a little bit to look over the manual and get a feel for what's going on. And, it only takes like two minutes, so I won't quibble too much. If they want to shave time off things I'd much rather have the start-up times of a console.

Yeah, on PS2 there might be loading times, but on Gamecube (the games I play at least) there are very two and they are a few seconds long.

XBOX is just part of Microsoft's plan to turn us all into mindless drones. Soon enough they will put an OS into just about every device. If you don't have M$'s PC os, you have the console OS, TV OS, car OS, bicycle OS, moped OS, motorcycle OS, shoe OS, sandal OS, home OS, vacuum OS, etc etc etc.....
