I think this game is really good. Well worth the money. Anyone got it yet?

Great game. We talked about it a while ago in some other threads. Some people out there gave it some negative reviews, though, because of its linear gameplay and repetitive moves. But I think this game is very nice if you're just looking for some pure fun, no puzzles to solve or tough bosses to beat.
The game developer could really give Rayne a few more moves and tricks, and the character's animation is smooth but a little bit unnatural. Well, considering that Enter the Matrix did a much worse job... The best ones I have seen was from Max Payne and Hitman 2; in fact Hitman 2 did the best work on character animation: when you turn, 47 actually moves his feet to respond your mouse' movement.
The graphics could really have some improvement. It has great bumpmapping but the fog effect was inproperly used, resulting a bad looking indoor enviroment. This is based on what I saw in the demko, and I guess they aren't gonna work on it too much since it has benn released on other platforms already. Still, I hope they look better than those ones I saw in XBox when I pull up its resolution.
There could be more monsters, too, and more human characters and human levels would definitely help. The overall length of the game could be longer. But it might be more fun if I could play it on PC instead of watching my friends playing it on the XBox. I will get it when its price drops.:D

Yian is right, there IS this kind of funky contrast issue with the video. The color saturation is kinda weak, and there doesn't seem to be any truly dark or truly bright scenes throughout the game. However, it's a fairly minor criticism, and doesn't really hurt the gameplay. The superhuman stuff aside, I think this game has a great physics model, and movement seems very effortless and fluid. I'll take some heat for this, but I would have preferred this engine for Medal Of Honor. I'd love to get my fingers on the level editor.
The final part of the Louisiana chapter was a freakin' excercise in frustration for me. (All that damn water.) But, when I reached Argentina, the Nazi ubermensch had no chance.
It is a bit short, but that seems to be an all-too-frequent thing in games anymore. I don't own a console system and haven't touched one since the Sega Genesis was new, but might the length have something to do with it being a console port? (Nevermind. That's off-topic and I don't want to munge this thread.)
I'd recommend it, and would buy it again.
