... thanks to PC Gamer magazine. Or should I say 'no thanks' to PC Gamer magazine. I'm glad they at least put it on the disc so souls seeking this pile of shit can rub their noses in it. Am I being harsh here?

I fired up this game with in mind, I've read at least 6 reviews dogging this game at every angle. I'm always trying games out for myself with an open mind of "We'll see about that..".

Dumb A.I. Dumb objective (s) (one on the demo). Dumb humor. Pissing on people? Is this supposed to be funny? I laughed the first time I did it, but what the hell? Is there a point to it?

I had no problem with the slightly dated graphics. I played it in 1600x1200 with everything cranked in the ATI menu (demo doesn't offer full effect tweak options). IT all looks nice for what it's worth. Sound effects were 'ok'. Controls, 'ok'.

It feels like a free for all game. A do-anything-I-want game. But why would you want to do it? I agree with any full featured review. Running With Scissors had one fucked up vision. Whether or not it was a 'good' vision, it came out in the end as extremely pointless and lacking fun.

I only see this game as being a good stress reliever. That's it. But I have Unreal2003 for that.

All the guy's in this forum hate this game.
You'll probably get flamed for making this thread.
I don't like the game, but, I don't hate the game. If I've got nothing better to do, i'll play the game for about 5 minutes, then get bored of it.
Like you said, every aspect of the game is shit, but if your totally bored out of your brain, why not play it!

The only thing that fully pisses me off about it is that the loading time runs like a dog...

Serious Sam is much more fun. I played The Second Encounter last night.

Postal 2 a touchy subject? LOL... I feel ya. I guess I just needed to vent. Now that I think about it, this thread wasn't all too necessary. What was I going to do, find someone that actually thought the game deserved a 5 star rating?

I just make it a habit to try out all FPS's. Too bad this one blew ass.

And I agree. Serious Sam: The Second Encounter is cool as hell. I used to have it. I found it seriously frustrating towards the end levels, no pun intended. The big arena, where all of those cyborg two-legged guys that shoot lasers start coming from all sides. I pretty much gave up there. It was fun, but other games required my attention that were less difficult. :D

I dont hate it :D I actually quite enjoyed it, but I have issues. Pissing is for putting out fires mostly, and the odd laugh, like when you bump into someone and they give you lip, you just wip it out and piss in their mouth :). It is good for stress and it can be alot of fun. Just one thing I suggest, put it on the easy difficulty levels if you are playing the full thing. Its much more enjoyable. I guess you just need to have a sick sense of humour. Plus, I have found the game is more of a statement, than a game.

In the full version there is alot more voice files and you get the idea that the sole purpose of the game from the developers point of view is that they wanted to go against every single activist there ever was. Once you have played through the single player "campaign" you get an enchanced mode, which turns your piss into napalm and you get loads more weapons and shit. This is when the real run starts and the only reason why you would be compelled to finish it again is to see the end of game stats, and to kill the activists ;).

Well, thats my view on the subject.

I bought the game against my better judgement, after bitching like hell about the demo. It was just one of those weeks that nothing else was out and I needed to play something new. I', dying to see what the patch does for load times. The game certainly has it's moments - take away the obscene load times and I might even start enjoying it.
