I brought the new Metallica album the other day, and if you put the CD in your comp, it has a little Quick Time ad of a new Metallica game to be released in 2005...
Has anyone heard any more info about this???

it's gonna be a twisted metal ripoff (i think), but all the cars are gonna be thought up by metallica, and all the music is from metallica

A metallica game? How low the mighty have fallen. (yeah i sound like the OMG you are on MTV fans but still....) I am sickened, I wouldn't play a metallica game if you paid me, it is just plain sacrilidge.

See, for Kiss it's ok to have a video game because there is Kiss shaving cream for god's sake. Metallica having a video game is like DMX having a video game....oh wait....never mind......

Their new album isnt all that great. All their new stuff is shit compared to their older songs.

I agree with you on that...
I can't believe that BOB ROCK the so called Greatest engineer/mixer of all time came out with that fucking shit ass drum sound. Not even the guitar sound is that good. With all the recording technology that this world has now, he pulled off a sound that was even worse that the Black Album, (not saying that it was a shit sound...)

I don't really like Metallica, so I'll stay out of that part, but when I heard about their new game, I just kinda shook my head. Maybe if no one buys it they'll stop trying to shovel that stuff on us.

frankly from what iv heard from the new mettalica album, what happened did they pay someone else to do it for them?
i only own one of there albums, Black Album [id have more but when i have money and when there in stock are two different time zones].
And there bringing out a Mettalica game? I think they done one of two things.
1 hit rock bottom
2 have too much time on there hands and simple sighned the contract for it without thinking about it
