I need Help

Right now I am stuck playing Tomb Raider Angel Of darkness I am in the second level at the top of the stairwell and there is stuff in front of the door and I cant get out.If I look around the gas that the cops released gets me I tried to crawl through the hole but I cant fit.I cant figure it out can someone please help me.

The game might be good if you can just her use to the lame control. This game is too new, maybe AXE want to wait a couple of days and some one might know the answer...;)
