i am working on a new sig. Its the same one I said i was working on a long time ago but never started. I finaly got around to working on it and i am not having any luck capturing images off of my DVD's(actualy store bought) of Trigun and i will use Hellsing as soon as one of my bastard friends gives me back all of my anime. I have tried the same thing you do when you get a desktop pic. print screen paste into program....but it doesnt work..it just shows up black.
Is there anything i could try that would make this work? or are there any good, free, image capture programs that can be downloaded from a computer that goes between 20k and 56k at random(damn family computer)

I found one program its called Capturex, heres a link to the main site: http://www.cliprex.com/
They have a free version but it installs a bunch of spyware, so I suggust downloading the shareware version and using it tell the 30days expires. Then if you still need it get the freeware one.
Also if you can get your hands on WinDVD, a program that allows you to play DVDs on you computer has a great capture built into the program. But the capture only works for dvds.
Thats all I know of, good luck with you capturing

Downfall, what kind of DVD player do you have? Use PowerDVD. It allows you to capture images. Windows Media player has this copyright features that doesn't allow you to copy any image into any image editing program.

Press "p" on the keyboard and the capture browser should come up. Or right click in the movie screen and goto capture browser. Every time you hit "p" you can preview it in the capture browser and when your done just save and delete the stuff you do and dont want. You can specify where the captures go in the options.
