I'm not a sega fanboy, but, I love Sonic. I used to have a Genesis when I was around 7 years old. My mates had SNES's, but I always prefered the Genesis.

When Saturn came out I think I was in Elementary school. The time was the end of 1994 and the game was Virtua Fighter. That's the timw when Nintendo and SEGA were dividing the Asian market and we all thought SEGA is going to win...

...years passed and now so many changes had happened. Those days seemed like ages ago, but also like yesterday, when thinking about it.

Great thread guys...I love Sega too. I hated the genesis, but when Saturn came out, that's when i started to show the love for Sega.

Then I got Dreamcast and it's still awesome. And now i buy their games for all the systems.

I got NFL 2K3 for Xbox and PS2. (Bought both)

I got JSRF and Shenmue II for Xbox

and I got Shinobi for PS2.

I still have to get a gamecube for the games they have on there. Like Home run king and Beach Spikers.

I want Sega to come out on top this year in terms of sports games, they make the best ones.

wow....sega, i remember only one of my friends buying a genesis and saying it sucked.... the rest of us had Super Nintendos and we for hell sure wasnt even thinking about any sega games..... i was simply a SEGA hater back then with all my friends...soon i got rid of the grudge and tried out the first Phantasy Star then Sonic and tails...i loved them both but couldnt stand the system...so i never ever bought one SEGA brand console.... i always rathered nintendo and had no clue which was better or who was winning in the little war.... i just loved my SNES and didnt care about anything else..... WOW those were the days....great child hood memorys..... lol i remember how the dream cast flopped so fast..lol and holy hell dont get me started on the 32x WOAH!!!... i always wanted to try Knights for the Saturn but my cousin always told me dont get a Saturn they suck ass so i never did... and sadly i never tried Knights....

Sega Mega Drive owned SNES.. yeah i know not that pretty gfx but SONIC is the best platformer.. mario blows sonic!.. i played all sonic games and loved my Mega Drive so much i bought Sega Mega CD (which was a disappointment).. anyways i loved sega.. played so many games on the damn thing that i cant count.. fatal fury was awesome..

lastly, i still have it.. (for u americans mega drive and genesis are the same).. and this reminds me i will pull it out and play some!

my god, the game gear I havent thought about them for about what 6-7 years, thos things owned the game boy but never took off. I even had the Special addaptar so it doubled as a portable "COLOUR" TV, and one disc haveing over 80 games.....oh memories.
