Ok here comes Yian making a thread about Mandy Moore... The last time I made a thread about something like this was way back, a thread about Tatu.

I liked her first and second CD but not the third, and she lacks variety. I watch that movie of hers and realize that she can't act. I saw a couple of shows she hosts on MTV a long time ago and she appears to be a boring host.

She is a real cutie but she always dress herself with weird stuff or, in most case, wrong color. She is a nice singer but her songs are wacky. She can't dance at all.

She had a lot of potential, but too bad fate seems to be against her by all means. Hope she will one day find a new spot and rise again.;)

I saw an interview with them--I'll confess that I wasn't too terribly interested, as I've never heard their music, and don't really care about their posturing either way--and it seemed like they'd do anything to get to the top.

Kinda like Shania Twain, I believe. Just more so.

All the power to the people who can stand it, but Mandy Moore is in the category I classify as "pop music", and that, I can't listen to. She's another pretty face with mediocre to no talent in a world that loves to look at singers more than listen to them. In my honest, humble, yet harsh opinion.

Hmm. Just one thing on TATU. First, one has a boyfriend. They don't tell you that, do they?

Second, it looks like they might be splitting up. One of them wants to go solo. I've never listened to their music, nor seen their garish posturing, but it seems as if they're only popular because they pretend to be lesbians. Seems both an insult to the public at large, and lesbians as a group.

Would I even want to watch Mandy Moore's new movie if it came out on TV? Maybe, but pay money to see it....never. Mandy Moore jas to be the worst actress. Think about it. In A Walk to Remember (which I saw because it was not up to me) I didn't think of her as her character. I thought of her as, "Hey, that's Mandy Moore, she sucks as....well...pretty much everything" HA!
