Hello all, Petrodon here to welcome you to the wide wonderful world of console gaming. There are a few highly awesome games coming out in the next few months, so let's start talking about them, I'll start.

Well, HALO is an FPS, not many cool Console FPS games, but one is Metroid Prime.

I am looking forward to:

MGS2:Substance for the PS2 (More enhancements over the XBox version)

Zelda: The Wind Waker

FF Origins

Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness

and

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time

Zelda will rule but I dont have a gamecube so I am out of luck, all I have is an xbox and I am still working on beating Splinter Cell. Stupid Landmines......

Petrodon, you mentioned Metroid Prime... I think I saw a photoshop'd version of the box at somethingawful.com... interested becuase I liked the snes games.. What platform is it on? I'm guessing XBOX... I might consider obtaining it somehow if it's any good.

I'm 99.9% sure it's on Gamecube only. Well maybe not only, but it's definitely on Gamecube. I want Zelda, but it's been postponed a really long time and the graphics are... cartoony. Which is strange since Gamecube has pretty good graphics. Oh by the way I like PC And Console games...

Well, lets see...

Run apache webserver?
Make a multi Xbox render farm to render 10000 poly scenes in UNDER AN HOUR! :)

lol i downloaded Mandrake about a year ago.....took freaking forever......wiped out one of my machines.....installed it.

Played around with it for about a day.....ok thats a lie, about 4 hours.....and re-formatted the machine. An OS that looks and runs like a laggy Java app, not my idea of fun.....

to each his own though, lots of people seem to love it. Not my cup of beer.

Metroid is one of those series owned wholly by Nintendo, along with the Legend of Zelda, and Mario. So, it is a Gamecube only game. But it rocks pretty hard nonetheless, SixShooter played it all the way through and he loved it. I played it mostly through, then got sidetracked by LZ:Ocarina of Time Master Quest. Which I just finished yesterday!

Next up, probably .hack//Infection//

I wasn't too thrilled with the fact that Nintendo decided to make it cel shaded. But recently they claimed that the original look that was unveiled at Spacequest 2000 (a much darker and more sinister looking LZ game with an Adult Link) might be used for a future LZ title.

Also, the Gamecube version of Soul Calibur will have Adult Link as a playable character.
