I just went and bought the game on Friday and let me say, if you're an Evil Dead fan, go buy it. It totally kicks ass. Bruce does voiceovers and has some really funny one-liners and the game is just mindless fun. Oh, and it's only 30 bucks Canadian.

They're both the same price unless you're talking about the Sony PlayStation2 Online version.

I had Xbox up until a few weeks back and I sold it because of the lack of great games. No, I'm no fanboy, but Sony has more quality games and right now I have 30 PS2 games. I had 10 Xbox games. Plus Sony doesn't charge as much as Xbox Live!, so that's a plus. It's a one-time thing unlike Microsoft's "Uncle Bill's annual collection". Anyway, it's not my choice. The only one you can change is yourself.

I've never played Evil Dead for the Dreamcast or even seen the thing. But I've heard a lot of bad comments about it. However, nothing can be compared to the latest Evil Dead game. Yes, it is made by VIS, the same crew that brought us the plague that was known as State of Emergency, and yes, it uses the same engine. But that's all in terms of similarities. I went out and bought SoE the day it came out since I fell into the hype and I hated the game. That's why I shot it. Evil Dead: Fistfull of Boomstick is mindless but is as insanely fun as Hail to the King is insanely shitty.

Yeah, I own all the Evil Dead movies on DVD and I'd have to say the second is the best. First still rocked though.

I dont console. I think the 2nd is the worst. It had a wierd flow. Its still a good movie just not as good as the other two.

wow.... my friend bought that game for $20 and he says its the worst game ever...he cant believe he wasted $20 on that peice of shit....take my word he was a Evil Dead fan big time also....THE GAME SUCKS HELLA BAD!!!!!

The game doesn't suck hella bad. If you're an Evil Dead fan and can accept the fact that it's a bargain title, you're practically stealing.

Well, as new blood to the forum I have to respect all the opinions of those that hate the game(even if they are misguided). As a true deadite i want to say bravo to all those that are in the same family. I own not only the originals of all 3 but also numeruos special editions and directors cut. the game is as kick ass as the movies. however i would like to just mention that if u want to see some really cool shit, check out " within the woods". The footage is grainy and hard to see at times but it is well worth the eyestrain for any true dead fan. if anyone is having trouble tracking it doen give me a hollar. I also have plenty of pics, icons, cursors and themes if anyone is interested.

lol. It's fun eh? I thought it got better as it went along. Each level I liked more than the one before.
