Phantasy Star Online Ep I & II

Any of you guys ever played PSO??? maybe either on the Dreamcast? or the Gamecube? or now its even on the Xbox...well if you have you know its truly a great game. I owned the game for a while and I have to say its the longest ive spent on a game ever! I was level 51 a RAmar 81hours and 30 mins!

I just traded the game in not to long ago, because i couldnt get back into it. Sad to say i never tryed the game online, i was always offline, but i did play 4 player with friends alot. I am kinda regreting it now i always wanted to play the game online and never got the chance b/c no money....I keep hearing the games music playing in my head and it makes me want to play the damn game heh, I always wondered what it would be like to be sitting in front of my TV playing a video game on the net...The thing was it was a very long game, and it took alot of my time out, 1 quest would take 2 hours to complete and i was hooked so i start playing around 10 am when i wake up and look at the clock it would be 3 pm!!!! i didnt even realize i was hungry... but after a while i beat Ep 1 on normal and hard mode... i went on to Ep 2 and i beat it only on normal. (THE BOSS WAS HUGE!) oh yea and that game has GREAT boss fights... the best in a adventure game yet... i beat the game and i was still very confussed about the story....thats the only thing i didnt quite get the story...its sooo damn confusing!.... all in all its the most fun ive ever had on an adventure game to date!.....i am not sure if i want it back just to pay for the online now b/c I have money now. Or maybe i should just wait for PSO ep III.

this is the second to last boss....u fight him on an elevtor going to the bottom floor .....and then when u reach the last floor u fight the really huge last boss!

I had the first one on Dreamcast, it took over my life for a long time. I played it almost 10 hours a day, I had 3 level 100 characters and had beat the game on every difficulty about 50 to 100 times. When episode 2 came out i stoped playing because of two reasons. The first reason is that cheaters ruined the game. They would hack to make it so they could kill you, or so they could have the most powerfull items in the game and steal all the kills, or they would crash the lobbies. The other reason is because PSO Ver2 came out and everybody got that, so there weren't as many people on ver1.

I never have and never will buy a pay-to-play game, so my PSO days are over unless they stop charging.

so you never had to pay for online? thats not fair we got to pay if we want to play online..... pooness!!!!:( :(

Yeah, the first PSO wasn't pay-to-play. I was planning on buying ver2 but (as i said above) I never have and never will buy a pay-to-play game.

yea same here i never bought a pay-to-play game.... and if i ever do it will most certainly be World of WarCraft.... i would give anything to play that beast!!!! Blizzard is great!

i played the 15 day free trial and loved it but then i didnt want to buy it also after that b/c i figured i got my full effect at level 20.... lot of cool people tho.... now PSO episode III looks nice, might pay not sure..... and trust me world of warcraft will be way better than asherons call 2.
