Anyone played this ONI thing before? I tried it, I liked it! I replayed it for at least 50 times! Anyone else like this game? Or why this game was bad.....? Most of my friends said that this game sucks.

It does suck. It was boring because most of the game was... boring. It was dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. Boring. Sucky game.

It is a good game but frustrating! I hate all games that do not let you save anywhere you want...

I played it, I liked it, played only ones tho, forgot most of it so I guess I'll play some again... sometime :D
And yes the no-save was pretty annoying, plus the lack of textures, thats what I mostly hate about console games, they look crap, no texturing whatsoever, Oni looked to consolish otherwise it would've been an eye candy...

It was poor for even a console game. It was Bungie's biggest fuckup ever.
EDIT: ANy of you people remember that Mac only FPS(except for the 2nd one) called Marathon?

The reason I liked ONI was it's animation. The graphics sucked, I know. But the limitation that you can carry only one gun at a time really makes you tink, and there are som many different ways to beat a guy! Slide, kick, combos, and ONI's level editor gives you a lot of cheats, too. The level editor actuallt onlt gives you the ability to edit the ammos...

In my humble opinion Oni kicked MGS' ass. No shoddy camera movement and the storyline only made me vommit once.

I wouldn't say the graphics were bad, just intentionally simple and stark; there was consistent style throughout. The one weapon at a time, limited ammo, and general ineffective of the guns irked me. I must say I liked the persistent bullet-holes, though. The unarmed combat, for me, transcended any other shortcomings Oni had. Not to mention the "Your about to get beat by a girl!" (I HAD to love that.) I'd give it maybe a 7. Good bargain-bin game.

Nice to hear word from some people who can see the positive side of this game. I'm about to reinstall it because it's movies fails to play with my new card...

I liked the demo, but the suckers who bought it stabbed themselves cuz the game is quite bland. The fighting system is, okay... it looks like some good multiplayer fun for broadbanders... Naturally, Oni doesn't have multiplayer, probably just out of spite. This game is truly a bitch.

Oh yeah, the voice-acting also sucked for the villians. I think. Oni had it's strong points, true. The fighting system and the one weapon thing as people were saying.
It was just executed poorly.

One important thing I almost forget to ask you smartees... anyone seen the movie for Oni before it hit the shelves? There was a big ass ROBOT in the game! A ROBOT! The one that looks like the size of a AT-AT from Empire Strikes Back. It walks and shoots and all that... But it wasn't anywhere in the real game! They must axed it! Anyone knows anything about this ROBOT?
