commadn and conquer generals HELP

I started up the game after installing it and it was fine, But i wanted to make the resolution higher, I think i set it too high, and u know how generaly u wait a while it will go back to the previous resolution if you don't click ok, Well it didn't.
So i exited the game (alt+ctrl+del) and when i went back in the game keeps loading the higher res, and i can't see anything on my monitor, except a blank black screen. So i uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, but same thing still happens, anyone know how to fix this, because i can't find any file that would change the resolution outside the game...

did u try to delete the left over files after u uninstalled?
then delete everything from your registry having to do with the game,thats worked for me a few times

Try to install it to a different folder when next time you install it. That should also fix the registry shit, too. Do not mess with registry directly unless you are being held at a gun point and were asked to do so. An unclean registry editing might look harmless at first, but later your machine will be as unstable as it could get.
