Anyone need a webhost that allows hotlinking for those big images?
hotlinking is when you put a pic on your free webhost, and they allow you to point to it from somewhere else, like these forums
for example, if you host an image on geocities, and use the tags for it, it will give you this: aaaaa

http://www.boomspeed.com has 1 MB of space
http://www.onestop.net has 10MB of space, plus FTP access, plus email (please say that cr3am referred you if you sign up)

post more if you know of them, and i will update this message

What’s going on in here? Are you kids doing something illegal? Are you ridding the white pony?! Are you on the crank? I know what your problem is… I haven’t been there for you, so now’s some time for loving!

I need a free website for stuff, I'm looking for a free webhost besides yahoo, angelfire, lycos, brinkster, cjb...

WGARA: I never used lycos but we can use our common sense here. Usually there is an online uploader, which you can use to operate with the software your uploading. After you uploaded a file (jpg, gif or whatever) you copy a url and do a usual linking procedure ([img.] [/img.]).

This should fix those broken links.

A very simple solution for all you 250free users. When remote linking please make sure to add invis anonymizer to the link (first anonymizer, than link). It solves the blocked countries problem so we all can enjoy pictures you want to show us.

RAD, what's the point? As soon as they find out about and resolve the issue (some sites have blocked the anonomizer) then we're all screwed. Might as well just use one of the other 10 or 15 listed.

Uhhm well as much as I hate to say it but 250free is probably the best service available out there. I have used most of the links I posted and I have to say:

1. Maximum you will get is 100/150MB (which is a lot, but not as much as 250free)

2. The file managing system on most of the services available is very uncomfortable. It uses java scripts, which are very unstable at times (results are corrupted files and damaged images).

3. Almost all of them have that nasty script that crops files with size higher than 800kb (I really hate that).

Onestop.net offers 10 MB with 1 GB badwidth/month, FTP access. I haven't needed anything more than that, and the longest it's ever been offline is 1 hr every couple months.

What is the file size limitation there? 1MB, 2MB?
