When i have to RMA a product from say, newegg, or googlegear, do i have to pay shipping again?

Normally, you pay to ship the product back to the merchant. They pay to ship the replacement back to you.

If the merchant determines it's a "CND" , (Could Not Duplicate; can't determine the problem, in other words), then it can get interesting. They might bill you to return the product back to you, there could be re-stocking fees, etc. Varies by merchant. Info should be on the website, and on your invoice and/or packing slip.

Depends on the company. The Gigabyte company that makes motherboards has a 1 year warranty but you must pay for shipping there and back and they take about 10 days to ship your motherboard back to you. They don't replace your motherboard, they just try to fix it no matter how f'd it is. So my friend, since his mom is Chinese talked to the Chinese people at the Gigabyte company and arranged a delivery and pickup for free.
