I'm going to say this quickly. If your using Panda Anti-Virus, I feel sorry for you. I have finally found the cause of my massive online gaming choppiness, Panda A-V and its shitty Firewall. It even found fake (unreal) viruses, in some places. Then the site won't even let me register to get virus updates(weak). And every so often it brings up an error saying, 'blah, blah, blah error, Terminating abnormal program'(which was either the firewall or the A-V itself). On top of aaaallllllll of this it was completely responsible for my massive choppiness in HL and all its mods(I haven't tried any other games yet). This has to be the best day of my summer vacation...

Current standings:

1. Norton SystemWorks - I have the 2002 edition but damn its good. It cleaned my harddrive of useless crap(gained nearly a gig) cleaned IE cache(now going through pages faster), and it covers some other crap too. All of this for just the cost of a little bit more resources from my computer(A-V only)(also, I'm not being biased).

2. McAfree Anti-Virus - I can't remember my problems with this A-V.
...
...
...
453. Panda Anti-Virus Platinum - Everything I said above.

Edit: I forgot, when that error came up, my computer kept on freezing, then when the computer did scandisk(or check, whatever its called), it took(and I timed this) 37 min 13 seconds thats 35 min too long(anything that was corrupted belonged to Panda A-V, mainly the PAV(something).log file in the C:\directory). And when it was at its worst, I wasn't able to turn off my computer, seriously. I had to flip the switch everytime.

Laterz.
