Electric or Acoustic

If Im just starting out, should I buy an electric or acoustic guitar?

buy an electic guitar to start, its easier to learn on but its more spensive.. yet worth it. trust me im just starting out to but i use to learn on acoustic when i was 6 but dropped cause it was too hard.. but i would recomend Fender's by far because of quality of the product. I have a fender cyclone and its doin great.. now i want a Fender Jaguar.. but thats like $1500

you can buy an accoustic with some plugs in it that make it sound electric...

and did you know they make accoustic bass's

electric to start by far. the nexks are a lot slimmer, and easier to use, then strings are closer to the frets, and i love gain SO MUCH

but since i play bass and not guitar...
and also... i find it harder to play acoustic since the damn thing is thicker

get a decent amp and chords if you get electric, it's worth it. Peavey, Mesa Boogies, or Marshall are the amps i like.

I got an electric, but at times I wish I had started with an acoustic, less to carry around and shit, but doesnt matter all that much

bass is also pretty good. i had one a few years back, but i still prefer electric.
