do you know of any .onf reader (ascii)?

i'd like one, the simplier the better, dosen't matter if it can edit files, i just want it to see .nfo files instead of using notepad... thx

notepad isn't good enough for you eh? pfft. Start->Run->cmd->"edit <path and filename>". I like Joe and pico as well.

lol yeah, that sucks. Although, if the .nfo is in a rar or zip file and I open it with Winrar, I can double click it without fear of system information loading up. You could probably go into your registry and delete the reference to sys info with regards to .nfo files.

wtf do you need a special program for! it's just a text file. :D

you can change the default program to open NFO files in Windows Explorer (the file manager). Just go to Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types and change it to wordpad or something.

Open it in notepad, just be sure to use "Terminal" as the font :)

WTF is this all about? You can just use Wordpad!

And about that NFO starting up systeminfo...just press SHIFT and right mousebutton press " open with" and choose wordpad. Also check the little marker that says " always open with this program". Voila!
