Am I the only one getting sick of the current fad of urban culture and hip-hop? It's disgusting. I'm sick of all these gangsta rappers getting so much hype. Gangsta rappers are immature, whining, criminals who are always in and out of jail because THEY DON'T FUCKING OBEY THE GODDAMN LAW, ignorant, childish NIGGAS. They're always talking about their stupid ghetto and all this other bullshit like "ice in their teef". WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK. Do they not realize that there are OTHER people in the world outside of the ghetto that also have problems??? It's called dealing with it and if you don't want to deal with it, shut the fuck up. Frankly, this entire thread has edged dangerously close to open hate. That's disappointing. I'll confess that I expected more from the forum than this.
And before you say it, no, it's not ok if black people talk smack about white people. I think, however, that a lot of the "calling white people racists" thing is overblown. Some do, but, for the most part, if there's a mass accusation of racism--like property taxes being used to fund public schools so the rich, white suburbs stay with good schools and the inner city schools stay bad--then it's fairly legitimate.
I think that there's a line. One side, there's raising concerns about race in the world today. That's perfectly fine, a lot of people do it everyday. On the other side of that line are statements like "All black people are good at is reproduction and playing BBall," and "Fucking niggas."

It seems like people look for a statement from someone of an ethnic group to justify their beliefs. In the American South, pro-Confederates were gladdened to hear that a black man was carrying a Rebel flag across the South.
That doesn't make it ok to fly that flag, since it was raised over state capitals in the 1950s as an attack on the civil rights movement.
There will always be black people who will make statements like Chris Rock did. And, there will be people who will not like that. And, I think, you're forgetting the white people who also embrace hip-hop culture. Despite their fairly common presence, everyone jumped straight to black people.

When you are taken into prison all of your excessive items are removed from your body; shoes, hats, wallet, watch, necklace and belt. Many of the people who are taken into prison wore saggy pants that they kept up by a belt. Once the belt was taken off the pants would sag off of the lower abdomen. Many people who this happened to were rappers. Once they got out of prison they brought this fashion to the "streets" and it became very popular. That's the true story behind the sagging pants fashion. My uncle is a police officer and he has confirmed this.

The simple answer is that a fairly large crime was committed against a people and, once they were freed, they were expected to simply forget. He didn't really catch me in what I said. We have variety in races and cultures and that can't be changed whether I'm racist or not. However, being racist or non-racist can change the diversity within a culture. Get a magnifying glass and look at the details, not just the obvious.
