ok ok ddr could almost be acceptable if it didnt have the worst god damn satan music there is. Even if it had cool music it is still some fat people hoppin on squares..... i dont see the correlation between wacking your feet on directional arrows with terrible music, and dancing.
I just thought of another terrible game.....
Daikatana--- worst pc game ever.... not even worthy of a mystery science theater award. Man that game sucked. my friend picked it up for like 6 bucks as a joke and it still wasnt funny. I mean how the hell are you supposed to hit green frogs in green water with a green background????

I did say that daikatana sucked ....what are you gonna do about it. You one of Romero's crack babies?

agreed. daikatana was pretty bad, to put it lightly. ranks among the likes of Fast Food Tycoon (which, sadly, i was cursed with as a gift).

Daikatana was a dream that was not fully realized. It was ambitious, but met a crack team and a John Romero, who was being nothing but cocky at the time. It is a legend of a failed hero, a quest of a game maker to an endless journey...
And, true, it sucked.

Daikatana: A bad game.
You gets killed by your teammates all the time.
You can't save anytime you want.
Your teammates are stupid and die all the time.
If your teammate dies, you die too...
The graphic is shitty.
The weapons are bad.
The levels are unoriginal...
But I'm sure there is a game worse than this.

Well, the first one that comes to my mind is "Blood II - The Chosen" which, unlike Daikatana, starts out pretty sporty, but then goes downhill from there. Enemies appear out of thin air, (I HATE that!), the level design is mostly boring, and you're forced to play the same maps TWICE at several points, among other issues. There's no fundamental difference in the gameplay for the different characters you can be, except that the cutscenes don't occur unless you choose Caleb. They had NO IDEA what kind of game they wanted to make. Too bad, because the original Blood kicked ass! Guns akimbo!

Quake II is pretty bad to for today's standard, but it was so COOL when it was out! I think that's what happened to Daikatana... didn't come out fast enough...

my friend got that game with his gf2 two years ago, gave it to me, and i gave it to the trash can.
i never played Daikatana, and hope to never have to resort to it. since i have never played it though, i cant tell if it's the worst game ive ever played (although i fear it would)
i have to say my biggest waste of money so far was dungeon siege. sure the graphics were nice and atmospheric, but the game was boring. hell i bought the game for the editor, which only came out a month after, and the editor was so buggy it fucked up my entire levels. this game was pretty bad, but ive seen worse. read on.
i think theres one game everyone is forgetting......
TEH SIMS!!!!!!!111
the original game had a great concept, but it went too far, way to far... too many queer expensions, too many ads everywhere, TOO MANY GAY COLORS!!!!!!!!
when my friend lent me simcity 4 the other day, i almost puked all over the cd case after seeing all the Sims propaganda...arggggg

You guys totally forgot the most recent Super Stinker - James Bond 007!! aka Nightfire!! .There were so many glitches in the games that they'd probably had given the name "GLITCHFIRE". You have to play it to believe it. If you ain't a pirate, you'd problably hang yourself to death after playing it--serious!!!

Worst input scheme I have seen was Batman: Vengeance, it was so awkward I gave up before finding out how bad the rest of the game was (only played the demo).

Wait, did someone just say blood 2 sucked?
NO WAY
Best one liners in a game since Duke Nukem 3d (they're old hat now)
"How do you like your flesh cooked?"
Or when he meets that guy at the end of like the first or second level...
"You can walk now and live, or stay here and die"
"I'm staying!"
"Then you're dying."

You did /NOT/ just say shogo sucked. Shogo was very good for it's time. Very very goodf or it's time.
Yeah, Daikatana sucked. If you people actually read the GameSpot special on it you'd know why. Romero was a bad teamhead, many of the artists were new guys and most of the time there was no coordination at all. It had potential.

Wow, Shogo rules the day... at least it used to. I know all about the funny textures, stupid AI, unrealistic physics.... but the gameplay was fun! Addictive...
... just like Oni! Speaking of which, I need to reinstall it at some point. It never work right since I got 9700.
