I just finished this digital art peice. It took me around 3 days to finish, and I'm pretty happy with the results. Tell me what you think of it. Comments and suggestions would be great.

i have 1 sugestion..i dont know about any one else but i think you could tone down the riple watter effect at the top of the image where the Beam on the left reflects back

Ok... cool. Feedback is good. What i might make it do is when the beam hits the water, it fades out, instead of reflecting in the opposite direction.

Ok here we go:

Comments:

1. Grid pattern is absolutely unnecessary here. I assume that by using pattern, you want to attract viewers attention to the center of the wallpaper. But believe me, the structure of the image itself does it quite nicely.

2. The text style also needs a bit of correction. Usually in the case such as this one it would be more appropriate to use simple stiles (no shadows of any kind or bevel). Gradients usually work well, but don't use default ones. Create your custom gradient to fit the theme. Outlining your text also works. You can use outer glow (again don't leave it on default, play with contour settings and spread size, color to make it more organic).

3. And thirdly an idea about the beam. Perhaps by destorting it, making it more random it would play out more smoothly.

Opinion:

Very, very interesting and promising work. You’re trying to find your stile and that's very good sign. I congratulate you on the result you achieved already and I wish you only the best with your future projects.

And if you have any difficulties or requests don't hesitate to ask:
