Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, aka AOK, was my favorite RTS. I used to play online in MS GameZone, and one day I stumbled upon three nubees.

They thought they can win if they team up or something, and they started to say word such as "Fuck" in the chatroom, basically trying to piss someone off so they can lure someone into their trap: a 3:1 match. They also used speed hack (their villager will work 10x faster than yours), which I found out later. Seemed to me they cannot possibly lose, but too fucking sad for them there came a man called Yian the Great.

I said "sure, 14(start the game already)." And they were probably all getting happy because they thought their rating was gonna go up or something. The game started. Fucking assholes (sorry but they called me that too) were stupid enough to choose Black Forest map, a map with almost infinite amount of wood to chop and only two narrow path to get to anyone's base, perfect for defense. I could have never win this game if the map was something else.

Defense was basically what I did for most time. They started to bug me as soon as they got Feudal. All these little men-at-arms and archers chasing after my scout for whatever reason they thought it was necessary. I don't know too much about these psychological tactics and all that. I didn't build any military units till Castle, thus I jammed out like 120 villagers...

A very dangerous Booming I was doing, right? Not if they kept building small troops in Feudal with no siege weapon to breach my little walls. I basically set up the strongest economy of all time and started to build military buildings, not units, after I have so many farms I lost count. At least 60 dudes were chopping woods, thus the wood deposit went 5 digit before I hit Imperial. With all the woods, I was able to keeping building farms. I build a market to trade all extra wood into gold, and buy as much stone as I could. All the gold mines plus all the trading gave me a huge amount of gold, but I didn't use them...

Instead, I build wood-and-food armies. Halbardiers, and Elite Skirmishers. I save all the gold for siege weapon, and I built 20 castles. I used all my stone for them, which means I have to protect them fairly well or there will be no resource to build them unless I buy more stne, which waste gold. My army never got more than 80 men since I had SO many workers, but hey that was just enough for defense...

By now my 3 enemies had a really big combined army. There were about 400 men they sent, which started the first big battle. They had plenty of horses, even more swordsmen, and plenty of rams, but the narrow path was jammed with all my cheap units there was this absolute chaos and a very big LAG. After 3 minutes of lagging my armies were gone compeletly because they had so many units and they are swordsmen the most, superior then my units in nature. But they lost all the siege weapon, too, and they can't advance because of all the castles I had.

So they sent in some more siege weapons while their armies stood where they won the battle, with Yian the Great's dead armies's corpse everywhere... the weapons arrived, they advanced, and...

...they saw a second wave of exactly the same thing they had justdefeated before. Things fell into a complete chaos and all the lag retunred... from the first annihilation of my army to the time I come out with the second wave, there was a gap of only 20 seconds. I bet they were saying "how the fuck ..."

Remember I was saying that I built a lot of military buildings before I build units? Well, I actually build 50 barracks, 25 archery range, 15 siege workshop... everytime a units pop out, I will have an army already. I hit pop limits every 12 seconds. They kept using the same tactics untill they run out of gold, and there was a pause of their attack because their supply had run dry... they managed to kill a total of 12548 dudes from my side, but too bad I have plenty more waiting for them since the wood and food just never run out...

They actually managed to take out four of my castles, with all their cannons and treuchets, and there even was a time they were right next to my farms and towncenters! But my units just pop out too quickly. They rushed to the rescue, kill all the siege weapons first, and the rest of my enemies's force is trapped between my castles. Soon their units production slowed down, and the pause between each battle gets longer...

...and now I put all the gold into the war. With the fury of 30 trebuchets, my army, for the first time, move out from the base, cut off the routes between them (no more trading carts!) and started to take their bases one by one. They sent everything they had left to my trebuchets, but my wood-and-food army block their way. Way before they could reach my weapons, their castles were gone, barracks were gone, town centers were gone... if they do breach my army, there are still plenty more coming ...

... and the lag disappeared since their buildings and units became less and less...

... and all the manner in their talking disappeared, too. Fuck and words like that were everywhere.

After 4 hours of battles, I won. This game basically ended with a player with lots of siege weapons while the other three players had none (out of gold), or simply can't build them fast enough because they didn't have as MANY buildings as I did. Without siege weapons they could never penetrate my base but I basically went wherever I wanted with all my trebuchets. LOL. Too bad I lost the replay of this match after I formatted my drive. I should have saved it, damn! But anyway, these 3 nubees were taught a lesson, that is... say Fuck don't make you better!

Using exactly the same tactic, I was brutally raped by another player online later... further proved that those three were stupid nooooobs.
