Does anyone else think that a Diablo style RTS using the W3 engine is a good idea? It could be awesome! Heaven vs. Hell with the main character being a hero class like in Diablo?

could be cool.....actually i like the idea. maybe i could start seeing into it after i finish my Act 1 remake in wc3 that ive been working on since the beta days.....if i ever finish it.
forces of good could have more expensive units that play a bigger role and stuff, and that you have to micromanage alot more. they could have alot of spells and HP.
forces of hell, else then the heros (prime evils i guess) would rely on swarming forces and overunning the enemy.

Diablo would make a RTS fan scream for insanity. GvE ? Cmon, they would have a bitch trying to figure out what the hell to do. Ex- Resources, Units, Names.

Maybe it will look something like Warlord Battlecry, which you can have a general or a hero's level be carried to the next missions.

When I first saw DiabloII I thought it'd make a great RTS engine. We've already had the RPG expereince with the main game itself, so I'd like a Diablo based RTS to be something like StarCraft. And I don't mind 2d either. :p

Holy crap! I thought the exact same thing before! That would be a really cool game...
I also think a diablo-style warcraft game would be cool... But that's just me

That would be so cool, that zoom in thing would be so cool as well. :D
