This was at Continental Area, home of the New Jersey Devils (GO DEVILS!! hockey ownz) at the first Family Values Tour with Korn, Ice Cube, Limp Dick, and Orgy.
The dude sang a whole f'n song on fire! He blew a flamethrower over the top of the pit!!! Great show. Well, with the exception of the singer psudo-fucking the DJ guy in the ass with a hose and then jacking it off into the pit. A little gay there for my taste but also funny.

if you guys like that German Industial sound then check out "Wumpscut" and "Leatherstrip". I'm not into industrial but from what I'm told those two bands are up there on the must have list.

Lol, Du hast means you have. Could you imagine a North American song called "You have"? It's a bit of a stretch...

There is an English version of the song that they recorded and they sing it "You Hate Me". It does sound gay as hell too.

Yeah it can also be You hate me, but saying "You hate asked me" makes no sense. (Du = You, Hast = Have/Hate, Mich = me, gefragt = asked)
Plus I think it's "du hasst" to mean "you hate" because it's hassen for "to hate".
I find it funny that a lot of people here listen to it and don't understand what it means.

Well naturally I was talking about the german version of the song. Though I don't understand why did they make a english version in the first place? Usually what sounds good in one language will not have the same effect when translated. Plus Till have that really nasty accent which make it sound even more umm...exotic?

Actually when I've been on the concert a lot of guys around memorized each and every word, in all the songs so they where basically singing with the band though without even the slightest idea of what they mean. Quite amusing actually.

I know what most of the choruses mean by simple roots and shit, and if I'm curious I can look it up, but I just think his voice and the instrumentals are fuckin' awesome.... I really don't need to know the lyrics to like tehm

wouldn't ''Du hast mich gerfragt'' be translated to ''You asked to hate me'' or something?
and i've heard somewhere that rammstein was banned form canada because of all the pyro shit they use

So it's actually a double meaning, that makes sense. Especially since the english version says "hate" and the subtitles on the german version of the music video say "hate". Remember when Du Hast got all popular that one summer? The music video had the english lyrics and they said "hate".

i heard (read it on the net lol) that rammstein have been banned from playing in france because when they once played in paris, they accidentally blew up the backstage area with their pyro stuff.
And apparently during a concert in berlin Till poured petrol onto the crowd... but that rumor obviously has a few problems with it =)
Actually, i'm pretty sure i heard about that stuff in a interview i saw during footage of Rammstein in Aus, before they played or something.

(Btw the thing is called a "scharfes s" or "sz (ess-zett)", and to make one you press alt-225 (on my keyboard at least).)

mm weird this whole hate/have thing. Cause the lyrics say: Du hast mir gefragt und Ich hat nichts gesagt. (spelling might be a bit off) Which can be translated into : You have asked me, but I didn't answer.

New Rammstein album released in Europe and the internet.
I've only listened to a couple songs so far, but those two seem not as good as anything on the first three albums...

Rammstein own. Links 2,3,4 gets me in the mood for a good invasion of France. I don't particularly want to find out what their lyrics mean as I know some of the words and I think its probably some pretty fucked up Freudian shit. I mean the album is called Mother and the one song is about hermaphrodites or something ;p I have generated my own little idea of what their songs are about, its WWII and invading shit because thats what germans were designed to do. I have no intention to know the truth.
P.S. this whole RAD, RADiator thing is confusing me, is it the same person because for some reason RAD seems to speak differently ( or I'm just tired and my brain is fried, its 4:50am and I havn't been to sleep yet ).
